Olivine  chondrule from H3 Chondrite Brownfield (1937)

LPA image. Green high birefringence olivine crystals with in phase extinction. Between olivines, low birefringent

pyroxene can be seen. Chondrule length = 2.4 mm.

Same chondrule without polarizer. Olivine crystals appear quite clear.
